The Shoulder is a complex and mobile joint and connects the arm and color bone and shoulder blade. The shoulder is supported by the Rotator Cuff, which is a group of tendons and muscles.
There are many different causes of shoulder pain but the most common is injury or surgery. Rotator cuff tendinitis is when the tendons are irritated and swollen. A rotator cuff tear occurs when a tendon is torn form an injury. With these injuries a person may experience pain, stiffness and weakness. Continued use of the injured area without proper medical attention can worsen the situation.
